音乐系Department of Music

    现有教师26人,其中教授2名,副教授7名,同时聘请了十多名艺术家和学者担任顾问和客座教授。本系师生多次参加了全国性的音乐比赛并获得优异成绩,其中包括全国青年歌手大赛和CCTV全国青年歌手电视大赛决赛,并有多人次获优秀歌手奖。

本系设有音乐学硕士点和音乐表演本科专业,本科教育培养:包括声乐表演、音乐教育两个方向。研究生教育培养:包括声乐、钢琴、作曲与音乐理论等专业方向。我们在办学上注重将西部地区的多民族文化直接渗入我校的音乐教育之中,突出民族文化特色,并与西藏大学、阿坝师专联合办学,使来到我校学习的音乐专业学生可以更好的领略富有多民族特色的音乐文化和传统文化。

在培养目标上要求学生艺术理论和艺术实践能力并重,综合培养学生的音乐表演能力、艺术活动的组织策划能力与音乐教学能力;并发挥我校多学科交叉的有利条件,积极拓展学生的知识面、注重音乐专业知识与其他艺术门类、相关学科知识的平衡发展,增强学生的适应性,使学生具备多种发展的可能性

Department of Music

The Department has 26 faculty members, 2 of them are professors, and 7 associate professors. In addition, over ten prestigious artists and scholars are employed as advisors and adjunct professors of the Department. Students and faculty members have taken part in many national music contests including National Young Singers Competition and the Finals of CCTV National Young Singers Competition, and many won the awards for singers of distinction.

The Department offers M. A. programs in musicology oriented in the fields of vocal music, piano, composition and theories of music, and B.A. programs in Musical Performance which covers the studies of vocal music performance and that of music education. The Department attaches great importance to the implantation of multi-cultural heritages of West China into the teaching and highlights the local colors and flavours of ethnical groups in the music education. In addition, the Department collaborates with the University of Tibet and Aba Teachers College in the presentation of programs and courses, and both the students of the Department and those from other universities can benefit from this undertaking and have a better understanding of the music endowed with heritages from multi ethnical groups and traditional culture.

Moreover, to well prepare and train students in both art theories and practical capabilities, the Department by making full use of the resources of this multi-disciplinary University puts emphasis on the balanced development of students in both professional and other related fields, optimizes the students’ structure of knowledge and expands their horizons, and explores and improves their vast potentials and adaptability for future development.
