艺术设计系：

    西南交通大学艺术与传播学院艺术设计系经过15年的努力，已经建立了一支结构较为合理、师资相对稳定的学科队伍，现有教师25人，其中教授4人，副教授4人，讲师17人。目前拥有设计艺术学硕士学位点和艺术硕士专业学位的艺术设计方向。本科招收环境艺术设计和平面设计两个方向。现在校本科学生780余人，26个教学班；教学设备齐全，课程体系科学合理，学生管理严格，全系以创建优质专业和培养一流人才为目标和宗旨。

Department of Art Design： 

With 15 years of efforts, the Department of Art Design has employed and maintained a well-structured faculty with 25 full-time members, 4 of whom are professors, 4 associate professors, and 17 lecturers. The Department now offers M. A. programs in the studies of art design and B. A. programs in the studies of environmental art design and graphic design. There are 26 classes and 780 students engaged in undergraduate studies, and the Department aims at the development of top quality programs and the training of best talents in the field.
